Here are the list of materials you’ll need for a backyard theater:
- PVC Pipes
- Industrial glue
- Assorted screws and hooks. (they use self-drilling in the video)
- Screen material.
- Projector
Building your backyard theater:
- Connect the pipes to form your frame. In the video — to save on time and labor — they bought 2 footers, rather than 10 footers. This allowed them to not worry about cutting down longer pipes to fit their desired dimensions for their frame.
- Use glue to secure the connectors between pipes.
- Attach the screen to the frame with screws, with about 8” between each.
Doesn’t sound too bad, does it? With a short list of materials, this project can be completed in just an hour! In no time you’ll be able to watch movies with the family, all while enjoying the outdoors in the privacy of your own home.
