We are Cedar Fence Direct! We are a sister company to Rocky Mountain Forest Products which is a specialty building materials supplier. We sell a few different types of fencing from Privacy, Split Rail, Post and Dowel, and Ranch Rail. Most of our fencing comes directly from this mill, which allows us to control the quality of our products as well as offer you more affordable pricing than most stores. What is the best material for my privacy fence?
We will always recommend cedar because it is so durable and adaptable to any environment. Cedar also looks great when left natural and looks phenomenal when stained. Cedar also lasts longer than most fence materials, which instantly takes the stress off you as the homeowner, so you don’t have to worry about when to replace your fence.
What if I need to repair my existing fence?
You don’t have to have a bulk order to buy from us here at Cedar Fence Direct. If you are replacing a few boards on an existing fence, we would be more than happy to help out. Whether you need 3 boards or 300 we’ve got you covered.
I need help with installation, can you guys install it for me?
While we don’t directly install ourselves, we can get you in contact with contractors we work closely with who can help you with the installation. We can also help answer questions or give you some tips if you’re doing it yourself for the first time.
The Different Styles
Standard Privacy Fence
A standard privacy fence is straight forward, this is the most commonly seen in neighborhoods and communities. This style is basic cedar pickets and cedar posts that are symmetrically installed in the same way for the entirety of the fence.
Decorative Privacy Fence
The decorative privacy fencing can range from a few different things. This can include a certain paint job that is a specialty, using a more exotic and vibrant wood species, or even adding post caps to the posts to tie the look together.
Horizontal Privacy Fence
This style is the same as the standard, but the pickets are installed horizontally rather than being vertical straight up and down.
When it comes to designing your fence, you can change up to or add whatever you want to it which is what makes it fun. You can paint it, stain it, install it, however, and even add décor like hanging lights and tiki torches if you want too. This is your fence and your design so style it your way.
